When thinking of what to say, there are a few points to keep in mind:

• Reference the occasion. We’ve outlined below some of our favorite effective sentiments, specific to the most common flower-sending situations.
• Be brief. Most of the time, you do not want to include more than just a few sentences. The flowers themselves will do much of the heavy lifting in this department.
• Include your name and the recipient’s name. This may seem obvious, but it can be easily skipped.
• Insert personal details when relevant. Have an inside joke or beloved nickname? Don’t be afraid to include it, where appropriate!
